Apple Sausage Flatbreads

I’m sharing a sweet and savory dinner meal with two key ingredients: apples and sausage!

I like to add a Mediterranean twist with this recipe by including rosemary, feta, and fig jam along with a topping of fresh vegetables.

I whipped up these easy sourdough tortillas to use as our flatbread.

Apple Sausage Flatbreads

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 15 mintues

Measurements

2-3 small apples, finely chopped

1 lb sausage, ground

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 TBSP rosemary, dried

Directions

1. Brown sausage in a skillet.

2. While sausage cooks, roll and heat my easy sourdough tortillas.

3. Once cooked through, add chopped apples until preferred softness.

4. Remove filling from heat and add garlic and rosemary.

5. Spoon filling into flatbreads.

6. Top with feta, fig jam, fresh peppers, cucumbers, and greek yogurt.

Plan of Action

The morning of the day you plan to serve these flatbreads, prep the dough for my easy sourdough tortillas. Anticipating dinner at 5 PM, start browning meat and and cooking tortillas at 4:30 PM. Enjoy!
